Di is a Golcar based photography enthusiast who produces original limited edition prints of landscape & wildlife photography, with occasional still life and cityscape images.

She has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art: Sculpture, and developed an interest in photography during her Foundation Course. Four years of studying art had an impact on the way she looks at the world, which she hopes is reflected in her photographs.

Di says "I love the spontaneity of photography, the quirks of fate, but also the contemplative aspect of the discipline. Any form of visual art involves the maker looking long and hard, otherwise it can't speak to others, in my view (no pun intended!)"

Di does not use Photoshop and employs a light touch when editing.

Di's photos have appeared in The Observer, on the Guardian Witness website, in The Huddersfield Examiner, and on BBC Weatherwatchers.

One of her prints of Marsden Moor has been sold to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary's A & E Department. Another print was chosen as the book cover for award-winning author Alison Lock's book: Beyond Wings. In 2015, she won an Arts Council Collection prize with a photo on Englishness. In 2017, the National Trust chose one of her images (pictured here) for inclusion in one of their walking brochures.

Di has participated in several group and solo exhibitions since 2014.
