Broxbourne at War: Life in the Borough 1939-45

Broxbourne at War: Life in the Borough 1939-45 is the latest exhibition at Lowewood Museum in Hoddesdon as part of the Your Heritage, Your Museum programme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Visitors can find out what was happening in the Borough during the war. Oral histories, artifacts and stories of everyday life will feature in the exhibition which runs until the end of the year.
From October 2025 there will also be a Room of Remembrance where people can share the stories of their loved ones who served in the war.

Lowewood Museum is open on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
