Screen Printing Posters – July

Learn the process of screen printing in our professionally equipped workshops and produce hand-made posters and art-prints! This 2 day course will cover the entire screen printing process – from getting your design ready for print and translating onto a screen using the photo-stencil process, to screen printing multi-coloured prints and posters. Learners on this course can expect to create a small edition of 2-colour A3 size prints on quality paper to take home with them.

Specific topics to be covered will be:

-Designing print imagery using graphics software or by hand
-Making your design ‘screen print friendly’- understanding the pros and cons of the medium
-Registration tips and tricks
-Techniques such as trapping, overprinting, transparency effects, and -blends
-Paper types and weights
