Dromos Festival awarded 2012 Inspire Mark
The Young Producers from Dromos Festival have had an exciting couple of weeks ahead of their first event which takes place on 9th July at The Hawth's amphitheatre, Crawley. They have recently been awarded a London 2012 Inspire Mark for Dromos, and have also received news from the Arts Council that they were successful with their Grants for the Arts application in securing further funding for the two events in July.
Dromos Festival is part of the West Sussex Ahead of the Game Cultural Programme, lead by West Sussex Arts Partnership, and is being produced by a team of local Young Producers.
The festival will feature some exciting established and emergent theatre, dance and live music acts, producing what will be a fantastic family day out! The team are really excited to be a part of the first Dromos events and are looking forward to creating a festival that they hope will become an annual event for West Sussex and will continue to grow and develop.
The producers at Dromos would like to thank The Arts Council, West Sussex Arts Partnership, The Inspire Team, Ahead of the Game, their mentoring team and everyone else who has and is helping to make Dromos Festival.
Dromos Festival dates:
9th July @ The Hawth's Amphitheatre (outside), Crawley, 1pm - 6pm
24th July @ Coombes Farm (near Steyning), Lancing, 1pm - 6pm
