Amanda Huggins Author
Amanda Huggins is the author of All Our Squandered Beauty, which won the 2021 Saboteur Award for Best Novella, as well as three collections of short stories and a Saboteur Award-winning poetry chapbook. She is widely published in newspapers and journals such as the Guardian, Telegraph, Mslexia, Popshot, Tokyo Weekender, Traveller and Wanderlust, and her work has been broadcast on BBC Radio.
She has also received numerous awards for her travel writing and short fiction, including the Colm Toibin International Short Story Award 2020, the H E Bates Short Story Prize 2021 and the BGTW New Travel Writer of the Year 2014. She was a runner-up in the Costa Short Story Award 2018 and the Fish Short Story Prize 2021, and has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, The Alpine Fellowship Award and many others.
Amanda lives in Yorkshire and works as a creative writing tutor and freelance editor. Her forthcoming novella, Crossing the Lines, will be published in December 2021.
