I work in textiles and mixed media from my studio in Dartmouth.
I create three dimensional sculptures and vessels made from mainly recycled fabrics, which I explore texturally and finish with a variety of media.
My work is inspired by textural forms and colours in nature and by investigation into our inner landscapes.
In 2010 I exhibited at Birdwood House with the Torquay artist, Marta Killey. Our exhibition "Hungry Earth" showed a mix of paintings and vessels which focused on the link between earth and spirit. We followed this in 2012 with 'Making It with Nature' a joint exhibition of paintings, paper and vessels which showed new work incorporating natural materials, bark, leaves, petals, earth pigments.

I am also working on developing the functionality of some of these vessels so they can be used to hold ashes and keepsakes from departed loved ones. - see these at www.earthvessels.co.uk
