Fiona Scheibl writes "Oil on canvas is my language. I use the pictorial space of the canvas to compose and re-compose. Some works are very flat, others deep and mysterious, in some the colours gallop across the canvas. The subject can dominate the composition or conversely it can wilt away as the spatial forms fore-ground themselves."
