Temporary post: October – December 2018
Full Time £19,548 per annum (Pro rata)

Right Up Our Street are looking to employ a temporary, fixed term, full time Project Coordinator to support the delivery of Doncaster’s first DN Festival of Light.

Roles and responsibilities

As Project Coordinator you will work closely with the Project Director and Event Manager to deliver Right Up Our Streets main programme of work efficiently and to the highest standard.

You will work with the Event Manager to ensure that Doncaster’s first Festival of Light is delivered smoothly, supporting freelance artists and more practical aspects of the festival. This will include -

* Provide administrative support to the Project Director

* Support internal and external communications for all RUOS activities

* Ensure that all RUOS stakeholders – internal and external – are kept informed of project commissions and developments

* Maintain accurate databases and managing personal data in line with the Data Protection Act; ensuring data is entered on relevant databases in a timely fashion

* Provide project management of RUOS Light Festival as required

* Assist with collecting and collating all RUOS data and project reports for Arts Council England reporting purposes

* Liaise with the finance team at The Point to provide periodic updated financial management information

* Attend meetings on the Consortium and other meetings as directed by the Project Director

* Monitor contracts and payments for commissioned work ensuring that aspects of artists contracts are met

* To undertake to work additional/flexible hours as directed or necessary (possibly at short notice) particularly during the Festival of Light period and as required by the Right Up Our Street Consortium and the appointed staff to meet operational manning levels.

* Working closely with artists and community groups

* Working with the RUOS administrator to ensure volunteers and stewards have been recruited, trained and directed throughout the festival

* Community focused event management as well as working alongside nationally and internationally touring artists and artworks
