FREE Conference on working with volunteers - Welwyn, 2nd Nov

#TeamHerts Volunteering and Herts Community Foundation are delighted to invite you to our FREE Quality Standards Conference on 2nd November 2016 from 9.30am-12.30pm at Focolare Centre for Unity, 69 Parkway, Welwyn Garden City.
Demonstrating that your organisation is fit for purpose, delivering quality services and working to a quality framework raises the confidence of commissioners, funders, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.

Come and hear about different quality standards in volunteer management your organisation can benefit from such as NCVO's Investing in Volunteers quality standards and PQASSO's Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations.

You can also hear from organisations such as Countryside Management Services that have achieved such standards to give you all the information you need to implement quality standards and best practice in your organisation.
This event will also give you the opportunity to sign up for FREE 1:1 support* to help you work towards these accreditations. You will also receive useful templates on the day to take away to help apply for accreditation.

Meet some of our Speakers:

Trish Kiss is NCVO's Investing in Volunteers Programme Manager, responsible for managing the Investing in Volunteers and Investing in Volunteers for Employers Quality Standards. With over 12,000 members, NCVO provides expert advice to the voluntary sector.

Tony Bradford has worked as Head of Hertfordshire's Countryside Management Service (CMS) since 2009. CMS has worked for the NCVO Investing in Volunteers Standard for the past 6 years. The CMS engages with more than 350 volunteers contributing 30,000 hours of time to CMS activity per annum. Tony will share an insight into the ways in which achieving IiV has transformed the way CMS engages with volunteers.
