Arts and Cultural Marketplaces at Artsmark briefings for schools

Arts and Cultural Marketplaces at Artsmark briefings for schools

In autumn 2015 the Kirklees Directorate for Children & Young People will be working in partnership with CapeUK to run Artsmark briefing sessions for schools in our part of the region. We want to have a marketplace of 15-20 arts and cultural providers at this event. This is a great opportunity for you to meet schools and tell them about your work with children and young people.

Would you be interested in attending?
We want the marketplace to be creative, interactive and unforgettable. We encourage every arts and cultural organisation that attends to bring an activity for teachers to try when they wander through the stalls. In the past we’ve had a fantastic variety including painting, music, animation, sculpture, poetry, set design, games, juggling. We want quick and simple activities which will draw the teachers to your stall and give you a chance to demonstrate your skills and expertise in a practical way.

If you’re interested in finding out more and would like to register your interest please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/artsmarkets. (Please note: This link also includes dates of other CapeUK marketplaces in the region. You can register your interest in more than one).

Please complete your details by Friday 14 August 2015. CapeUK will get in touch with further information as soon as they can.

Please contact Andrew Heath-Beesley, Kirklees Learning Partner, Children & Young People. tel. 01484 414708 email andrew.heath-beesley@kirklees.gov.uk for further information.
