Heritage Lottery Fund Workshop for Community & Arts Orgs

Heritage Lottery Fund Workshop for Community & Arts Orgs

Find out about the Heritage Lottery Fund and how heritage and arts projects can apply to its funding programmes.

Thursday 9 June, 10am - 12 noon at Heritage Quays, Huddersfield.

As part of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) programme of general advice and support, a 2 hour session is offered including a presentation and Q&A, delivered in partnership with Kirklees Council's Creative Economy Team.

The session is aimed at community and arts organisations in Kirklees who are interested in the Heritage Lottery Fund and in finding out more about funding programmes available for arts and cultural organisation to apply to.

Heritage is broader than you think, including archaeology, the natural environment, memories, cultures, places and identity and the arts can be a useful tool for engaging people with heritage. This session will act as an introduction to the Heritage Lottery Fund, cover the different funding streams and programmes available, highlighting how heritage and arts can work together, and you will also get the opportunity to ask any questions and hear examples of previous successful Heritage Lottery Fund funded projects. There may also be an opportunity for some 1-1 sessions at the end of the workshop.
