Fixed term five month contract from May to September 2022 with potential to extend contract dependent on funding. Salary Minimum: £40,000 (per annum)

Reporting to the Steering Group through the Director of the Henry Moore Foundation, the Producer will work closely with the Yorkshire Sculpture International (YSI) Steering Group and colleagues across the YSI partnership – comprising Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

During this five-month period the Producer will lead on fundraising to secure funding towards the next festival from Arts Council England, trusts and foundations. They will lead the development of external partnerships with local partners including Leeds 2023, Wakefield Council, and universities. They will work together with the partnership’s curators to develop the vision for the next sculpture festival in summer 2024 to engage local and international audiences. The Producer will continue the strong collaborative working structure across the participating institutions and work with local, regional, national and international partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Take overall responsibility for the delivery, administration, financial management and coordination of YSI.
Manage the fundraising strategy, taking the lead on researching opportunities and writing grant applications.
Develop a balanced budget and procedures for cross-venue reporting to ensure effective financial control.
Work with the YSI partners to develop the vision for the next festival is summer 2024.
Develop the YSI brand and identify ways to raise the profile for YSI.
Maintain clear operational structures and policies for cross-venue working, including agreements and contracts with artists and partners.
Work with the YSI Engagement Curator to manage the delivery of the engagement programme with artists, teachers and local communities.
Work with the YSI Digital Content Creator to manage press and marketing, liaising closely with the YSI partners.
Report to the YSI Steering Group on a regular basis on the progress of activity.
Develop effective local, national and international partnerships that integrate fully with the project’s ambitions and support the curatorial and learning programmes.
Represent Yorkshire Sculpture International in the sector and across media, contributing to our public profile.
