Senior Arts Project Officer - Leeds Light Night (Temporary)

The Leeds Arts Development team are recruiting an experienced and dedicated Senior Arts Project Officer to devise, manage and deliver Light Night Leeds 2016 (temporary to cover Adoption Leave)

The key responsibilities will be:

• Work with the Arts Development Manager to develop, event manage and evaluate Light Night event.
• This involves, marketing the event, managing staff, completing all finance including sponsorship and applying for external funding.
• Directly manage and deliver elements of the Breeze International Youth Festival as directed by the Arts Development Manager.

The successful applicant will be part of the Arts Development Team and will work closely with the Arts Development Manager, the Senior Arts project Officer and manage freelance staff in partnership with local arts organisations and communities.

Applicants should have excellent event management, communication and organisational skills, and experience of producing and event managing large scale outdoor multi arts form arts festivals, and managing casual workers/volunteers. They should have the ability to prioritise tasks, produce reports and manage budgets.

This role requires the post holder to work weekends and unsociable hours.
