Visual and Sound Artist, Opus Independents, Sheffield

Opus Independents has an exciting commission opportunity for a sound and visual artist to work on a project with its literature project, Word Life. They are looking for two artists to create a short film each based on one of two original poems that will be projected onto a central building in Sheffield.

They are working alongside Off The Shelf Festival of Words and Ruskin in Sheffield to create two original film poems that are loosely themed by the writings of the prominent social thinker and philanthropist John Ruskin. This is a collaborative project and artists will be expected to work interactively with the poet, producer and projectionist.

There is a £600 fee available for each commission. Commissioned artists will receive the audio recording of the poem on the 9th September. The deadline for the film will be the 2nd October.
