My fascination with photographic images began as a child of very tender years looking at a dog eared, sepia print of my great grandmother...that was a very long time ago! I have been trying to capture that awe and wonder ever since with varying degrees of frustration, heart break and success.

My images are digital; I left my panchromatic film behind a long time ago favouring the immediacy of the digital process. However my images are on the whole untainted by the sourcery of computer technology. I like the images to stand alone and speak for themselves. The interaction is then between the viewer and the image at a personal level.

I have photographed events, portraits and a plethora of assignments that have distracted me from my primary passion of making "good" images. I now dedicate my time to photographing what I want and I hope that these images make a connection with you.
