Jenni Pentecost Landscape and Seascape Artist, predominantly oil or pastel

Jenni is a highly creative artist who finds it enormously exciting and challenging to experiment with new techniques and textures that give her paintings a unique quality with a strong sense of composition and tonal contrast. Her affinity with seasonal changes in colour, light and mood enhances her depictions of West-Country life.

“I see potential images from a wealth of natural forms, in dramatic shapes of wind-ravaged trees on coast or moors, textures in weathered rocks or stone walls, and to then absorb the wonderful colours of mood and atmosphere to reflect my inner love of nature through my paintings. But ultimately, my work is for people to enjoy; to see and feel in them what they choose.”

It was later in life that Jenni attended university to gain her various degrees in art, teaching and photography. After many years of successfully running her own photography and design business, undertaking commissions and teaching art, she retired to Devon closer to her home county of Cornwall.

She has successfully exhibited in London, Kent, Nottinghamshire, Cornwall, various galleries in Devon, and internationally such as Brittany, Italy, Tunisia and Spain.

Her workshops are always encouraging and inspirational.
