Originally trained as a photographer, I went on to complete a design degree specialising in illustration, followed by a 2 year PGCE primary and secondary teaching certificate.

Having worked full time as a teacher for fifteen years – most recently in a school for children with special educational needs – I’m currently on a career break to bring up my two small children, as you can imagine this affords little time for my love of painting and ceramics but none the less...
