I am a mainly self-taught, professional artist born and working in Paignton, South Devon, and have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I use a variety of media including soft pastels, acrylic, charcoal and graphite pencil. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects, including landscapes, but my passion is for portraits and I specialise in children and pets. I have always been fascinated by faces in particular whether they are human, furry or fluffy, and I love the challenge of capturing the light and life in the subject as well as something of their character.

I am available for commissions using your favourite photograph to create a unique piece of art especially for you. I aim to provide a friendly and approachable service and am always happy to discuss your ideas and requirements. Photographs can be emailed direct to me. Prices start at £60 for an 8" x 11" pastel portrait of one subject.
