Nature Author Talk at Welwyn Garden City Library

Nature Author Talk at Welwyn Garden City Library

Green Libraries Week is a time to learn about sustainability and plant small seeds that can lead to big change. Alongside creative events across the county, you can join Nic Wilson, Guardian Country Diarist as she discusses her new book Land Beneath the Waves this Green Libraries week. This memoir explores the relationship between the natural world, and our mental and physical health, as Nic navigates life with a chronic illness. Nic is Hertfordshire-based, meaning much of the book explores our local chalk stream landscape, and perhaps even some places you may recognise.

Tickets are just £5 and can be bought online or in the library. Join us on Tuesday 28th October, 7:30pm.

"With the natural world facing more threats than ever before, Land Beneath the Waves inspires us to develop a meaningful bond with our local natural spaces & landscapes, illuminating a hopeful path towards a better future."
