'Flower felicities' pastel drawings by Alison Blomfield

Our Dot to Dot artist in residence this month is Alison Blomfield. Alison has filled our gallery with a glorious exhibition of pastel drawings and paper mache bowls.

‘Through my drawings I wish to bring the vibrant colours and the glory of flowers to life so that once the flowers, often gifts for special occasions, have died their vitality is preserved in my pictures. I then, and hope everyone too, can enjoy them out of season throughout the year’.
