Hoddesdon Collective exhibiting in Hoddesdon Parish church as pa

A group of seven members of Herts Visual Arts have come together to host an Art exhibition and sale. All are members of the newly formed South East Herts group of this county-wide organisation, and are delighted to be exhibiting at Hoddesdon Parish Church from 6th to 28th September – three weeks of wonderful and creative art.

During this event, you can meet the local artists, watch demonstrations and perhaps take part in a workshop.
The artists exhibiting are Neriman (Nery) Keleszade who is a qualified Nursery Teacher having grown her knowledge in art therapy, colour therapy and psychology. Alongside Nery’s work you will see that of Alistair Wye a self-taught artist driven by intuition, curiosity and a refusal to colour within the lines.

At Hoddesdon Collective you will find the work of Chris House who bases his creations on vintage posters as well as drawing and painting the human form, and sports poses, plus Dave Wye, a retired chartered accountant who taught himself to paint portraits having been inspired by the creative work of the atomic physicist Richard Feynman.

Irina Autumn‘s work is rooted in Uzbech heritage and is flowing with creative energy; ancient whispers meeting modern wonder, which sits alongside Roxana Parker inspirational creativity taken from the natural world, finding joy in colour, shapes and textures exploring these in her mixed media work, and Sally Taylor who loves painting the world of birds and beasts and the wonder of landscapes using acrylic and a little bit of shimmer.
