Abbey After Hours: Climate Justice
When we talk about climate change, who is part of that conversation? Are we really listening? Can we cut through the noise and hear new voices?
Welcome to our Abbey After Hours event! We’d love you to join us for challenging, hopeful conversations on pressing 21st Century issues.
With COP26 taking place in Glasgow later this year, and the Church of England’s target of hitting net zero by 2030, there’s never been a better time to talk climate.
We’ll be joined by 2019 Theology Slam winner Hannah Malcolm and Dr Anderson Jeremiah for a live conversation inspired by Words for a Dying World. We’ll talk about how hope can be sustained in uncertain and extraordinary times, hear voices from our local and global St Albans, and have our discussion captured creatively by our Poet in Residence.
Date & Time: Wednesday 26 May, 7.30-8.45pm
Cost: £8 (standard) or £5 (under-25s)
