Strictly a Cappella at the Radlett Centre

Strictly a Cappella is a friendly and award-winning mixed vocal group, based in South Hertfordshire, led by the inspirational musical director Helen Lappert.

Since 2014, we’ve sung traditional favourites, classic hits and recent pop songs unaccompanied in four, five, or even six-part harmony at local corporate events, private functions, charity occasions, fetes, fundraisers, social gatherings and Christmas markets and have also taken part in the London a Cappella Festival.

We've also travelled abroad to sing. In 2017 we took part in the Den Bosch International Festival in the Netherlands).
In 2019 we performed and competed in the Irish International a Cappella Festival in Dublin, and were the top-placed chorus, and 4th overall. In July 2023 we took part in a weekend International Choral Festival in Prague, and in June 2024 we went to Berlin for a weekend of performances.

We are an audition chorus, and as of July 2025 we are only looking to recruit male bass singers. If you are a confident singer and can learn and hold a part in a large chorus, please contact us.
