DIY Aluminium Plate Lithography – Printmaker’s Toolkit Session

Join artist, printmaker and WYPW technician Kate Desforges for a
demonstration of lithography on aluminium plates. In recent months
Kate has been developing her own method of this widely used technique
to use in her own work, and in this session she will demonstrate her work
so far. As WYPW do not have a specialist lithography press, and plates for
lithography are hard and costly to source, Kate has been experimenting with grinding her own plates using carborundum, and printing on the etching press.
